You feel called to pass on a gift
From personal experience, I know how incredible it can feel to have the good fortune to participate in something that would have been out of reach without financial support.
At the age of 27, I unexpectedly returned from the Americas with my husband and three small children, no money to our names. We ended up on social welfare. Kind neighbours in our community introduced me to the world of personal development. Several times, I was invited to join training programs almost for free—programs that others, including those same neighbours, had paid full price for.
One morning, I got a call: “We have one last spot left—do you want to join?”
Yes, yes, yes—I did!
That moment shaped the course of my life. I wouldn’t have wanted to miss it for the world.
Today, I offer trainings and courses myself, to people from all walks of life and all ages. Most of them—like my former neighbours—can afford to pay.
But sometimes, I meet (young) people with a deep longing to grow, to develop, to wake up—but without the financial means.
But ever since I came across the Pay It Forward pizza-slice wall in New York, I’ve dreamt of creating my own ‘Pay It Forward Fund’. Because I know—and witness daily—what the power of (self)development can bring to (young) people, I would love to create a bridge between giver and receiver.
TOF (The Original Foundation) does not fund workshops, trainings or courses involving plant medicines or other stimulating substances (drugs).
We hold the vision that nothing external is needed anymore—transformation is already available within.

You wish to receive a gift to support your personal growth
Just as described next to this, I know how wonderful it feels to receive a gift that allows you to take part in something that helps you move forward in life.
Are you at such a point in your journey, and currently unable to fund it yourself? Then you may apply to our fund.
You will first receive the gift as an interest-free loan.
If you’re unable to repay the amount within 9 months after completing your training, the loan will automatically become a gift.
We trust that, in principle, people genuinely wish to give back for what they’ve received.
And we often see that through (self)development, people’s (financial) situations change in surprising ways.
Your potential repayment can make it possible for someone else to benefit from the same support — and there’s a beauty in that as well.
