Thank you for your interest in The Original Foundation.
On our website, you’ll find much to explore about how we, as a foundation, seek to contribute to a changing world—both today and tomorrow.
It all begins with our vision, our purpose, and our intentions. These form the foundation on which we build.

The Original Foundation is dedicated to nurturing an integrated and harmonious society.
We do this in collaboration with others. It is our intention to support enterprising individuals and organizations who wish to play their own meaningful and original part in this greater whole.

Vision
The Original Foundation is rooted in the belief that self-aware individuals naturally contribute to the well-being and progress of society as a whole.
For this reason, we place the development of (self-)awareness at the heart of everything we do.

Through awareness, duality can be understood—and fear and emotional conflict transcended.

Through awareness, people can freely engage with polarity, shaping their own lives and making joyful, enlightened choices that resonate with their deepest values, intuition, and authentic self.

This awareness opens up new possibilities and gives life a wondrous glow.

Original staat voor de pure, ongerepte bron van creatie en wijsheid die in iedere mens aanwezig is. De stichting richt zich op het herstellen van deze innerlijke verbinding, zodat mensen vanuit helderheid en integriteit kunnen leven en creëren. Zo wordt ‘het oorspronkelijke’ niet alleen herinnerd maar ook herleefd en in de wereld gebracht.

Een geïntegreerde samenleving

is een samenleving waarin verschillen (h)erkend, gewaardeerd en op natuurlijke wijze in elkaar grijpen. Waar mensen met diverse achtergronden, overtuigingen, levenswijzen en talenten verbonden kunnen zijn — in samenwerking, in gesprek, in wederzijdse betrokkenheid.

Het is een samenleving waarin ieders bijdrage ertoe doet, en waarin systemen, structuren en cultuur gericht zijn op inclusie, rechtvaardigheid en samenhang, door een gedeelde bedding te creëren waarin diversiteit tot bloei komt. In zo’n samenleving is integratie een voortdurend proces van wederzijdse afstemming, luisteren, leren en co-creëren. Het gaat om leven vanuit gedeelde waarden, met ruimte voor verschil.

to collaborate with individuals, companies, organizations and other foundations, in order to foster the exchange of knowledge and create synergy that helps realize our mission;

younger generations

TOF holds a warm heart for people of all ages and from all directions of life. At the same time, we hold the vision that it is the younger generations who will bring about the great transformations our world is calling for — perhaps supported by some know-how and life experience from those who came before them.

What we see is a growing number of young people — roughly between the ages of 17 and 35 — carrying brilliant and innovative ideas.
They are often highly intelligent, deeply heart-driven individuals who care sincerely about the world. And yet, for various reasons, they don’t always manage to land their ideas with ease.
This is often because their strength and vision operate in the higher (more subtle) layers of human consciousness.
And from that altitude, while expansive and inspired, they can remain somewhat unbounded — with a thousand ideas — while true manifestation asks for grounding and form, and ultimately requires the body as a vessel.

TOF intends to create something meaningful especially for these generations. From this intention, a new project was launched in August 2025: “Gen-Z Rising.” Read more about it via the button.

is one in which differences are acknowledged, respected, and valued — and where they naturally interweave.
It is a society where people from diverse backgrounds, beliefs, ways of life, and talents can be genuinely connected — through collaboration, dialogue, and mutual engagement.

It is a society where every contribution matters, and where systems, structures, and culture are oriented toward inclusion, justice, and coherence — by creating a shared foundation in which diversity can truly flourish.
In such a society, integration is not a fixed outcome, but an ongoing process of mutual alignment, listening, learning, and co-creation.
It is about living from shared values, while making space for difference.

The evolution of Consciousness

Throughout the centuries, European religious and cultural traditions have each, in their own way, sought meaning, truth, and connection — as individual links in a larger story.
A recurring undercurrent runs through them all: the story of human awakening.
Each era with generations, each culture, each religion seems to echo a universal longing — a remembrance of who we truly are.

At this pivotal moment in human evolution — in our present time of transformation — these diverse storylines have the potential to converge in the heart of the conscious human being.

A completely new era is unfolding, in which people can move beyond fear and emotional struggle.
A time in which power can serve love, and opposites can be united into a harmonious whole.

The Riple effect

When people are self-aware and able to create with intention from the heart, it has a positive impact on society as a whole. Sustainable manifestations that arise from a sense of shared purpose create a ripple effect that benefits everyone.

The foundation works with the intention that every creation it supports contributes to a more conscious humanity and society.
To further strengthen this process, the foundation aims not only to support innovative, enterprising individuals and projects, but also to recognize and revitalize forgotten or undiscovered power places across Europe.

By this, we mean historical and cultural heritage sites where ancient cultures and religions have, over the centuries, cultivated their insights into human consciousness. Much of this old wisdom can be found in rural areas on the edges of Europe, at energetic sites connected through ley lines that stretch across the continent.

These kinds of places are often uniquely powerful, energetic locations where people can find stillness, draw inspiration, and allow their talents to come into full bloom.
Alongside the well-known, prestigious sacred sites, there are countless hidden gems — perhaps less in the spotlight, yet all the more valuable to local communities and the preservation of cultural heritage.

TOF seeks to rediscover, support, and above all, to breathe (new) life into them. This is done in collaboration with innovative project leaders and local communities. In doing so, a network can emerge of historical and cultural heritage sites that are not only preserved, but actively serve as catalysts for the development of consciousness in our time. Each heritage site and/or power place can, in its own unique way, become a renewed foundation for conscious living and entrepreneurship.

At this moment (July 2025), TOF is developing its first project in the far southwestern corner of Europe. Where the terracotta-colored power of the Earth meets the deep blue of the Atlantic Ocean.

l’ Hermitage du Mystique

A remarkable historical heritage site where heavenly plans can come into bloom.

L’Hermitage du Mystique is located on an ancient sacred site. As far back as the Middle Ages, several churches stood here. Destruction caused by religious wars and neglect over time brought Abbé Pierre Marie Rousse, in 1862, to the decision to rebuild the church. In this small chapel, with its turquoise ceiling and golden starry sky, it is the Holy Mary who stands at the altar — an image not commonly seen. Rousse built the chapel together with a school and an orphanage, each on one side of the church — the building now known as L’Hermitage du Mystique.

Later, he built 14 small chapels on the hillside behind, representing the Stations of the Cross.
To this day, they reflect the silence and devotion that still resonate from this historic place.

The TOF Foundation aims to breathe new life into this historically rich site and inaugurate it as its very first Change Maker location: L’Hermitage du Mystique.
