Gen Z carries a natural strength within them. They are honest, creative, and authentic; they search for meaning and dare to ask the questions others prefer to avoid. They have a sharp sense for what is real, see through façades, and long for sustainability, justice, and connection. They are digitally skilled, inventive, and know how to build communities that bring people together.
Yet these very qualities often cause them to struggle in today’s society. Structures still driven by pressure to perform, competition, and economic gain do not align with their values. Their need for authenticity clashes with a culture of superficiality. Their longing for connection is at odds with systems that reward individualism. Their creativity is often constrained by frameworks focused mainly on security and repetition.
In their potential, Gen Z is a generation that can help shape a fairer, more sustainable, and more resilient society. But as long as their strength is not given space, many of them experience stress, insecurity, and the sense that their contribution does not matter.
Gen Z Rising
Gen Z Rising is a program for young people aged 17 to 23 that creates space where these qualities are truly recognized and strengthened. Young people discover their inner compass, learn to deal with external pressure, and receive practical tools to shape their values and talents. In this way, their potential grows into real strength, which not only supports themselves but also makes a valuable contribution to the society of tomorrow.

The program consists of a series of sessions in small groups (4 young people). The Aardse Magie method (Dutch for “Earthly Magic”) forms the foundation: a combination of awareness development, practical tools, and experiential exercises. Participants discover their own strengths, learn to handle pressure, and experience a sense of connection with themselves and others. The guidance is intensive, personal, and far from school-like, allowing young people to feel truly seen and recognized.

Aardse Magie – Timeless wisdom for a new generation
Across the centuries, cultures, religions, and generations have each, from their own perspective, contributed to the consciousness we know today. Ancient wisdom, rituals, stories, and symbols live on—not as a memory of what is past, but as a source that reminds us of the strength and wisdom inherent in every human being.
Gen Z now stands at this crossroads of time and meaning. Their power lies in openness, creativity, and the courage to break through existing frameworks. At the same time, they move in a world that often still clings to fixed patterns of thought, rigid structures, and emotional struggle. Aardse Magie offers a grounding space where these young people can recognize and experience the ancient wisdom within themselves, and learn how to embody their own strength in the here and now, from a place of inner freedom.
In this way, the lines of past, present, and future flow together in the heart of this generation. What once seemed separate now finds connection: age-old wisdom and the drive for renewal, the personal quest and the collective movement.

Who we are
The Original Foundation was established to support initiatives that promote awareness, social renewal, and equal opportunities. As a foundation, we take formal responsibility for the application process and ensure that resources are used transparently and with clear purpose.
For the implementation of Gen Z Rising, we collaborate with Uniovision (Rien Hagenaars & Celeste Banning). They bring more than twenty years of experience in guiding young people and young adults in their personal and spiritual development. Their approach combines professional expertise with a personal and creative touch.
This collaboration provides a strong foundation: a foundation that carries social responsibility, and an implementation partner with a proven ability to inspire and guide young people. In this way, funders can trust that their contribution will be both carefully managed and powerfully delivered.

With the support of funds and partners, we can offer the program free of charge or for a small personal contribution. This creates a level playing field: every young person gains access to recognition, practical tools, and guidance that can make a profound difference.
